The primary goal of the association is to maintain the health, safety, and navigability of the Little Magothy River. Our responsibilities include:

• Tracking the current state of the river, depths, inlet and bulkhead conditions.
   

• Managing funds secured for future dredging and maintenance operations on the river
   

• Securing all necessary applications, permits, impact studies, etc...
   

• Creating detailed proposals for work to be done.
   

• Seeking out and hiring the appropriate dredge operators and contractors for the work.
   

• Working with local associations so that all concerns are addressed and also, to insure all usable materials (example: sand) acquired from the river are reused for the benefits of the communities.
